DOMINION REPUBLICAN WOMEN’S CLUB

 

Dominion Republican Women’s Club (DRWC) was established in 1984.  We are members of the Virginia Federation of Republican Women (VFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW). DRWC is financed through the payment of dues, contributions and fundraising efforts. DRWC are individuals interested in supporting Republican elected officials and qualified candidates for office.  Dominion Republican Women consists of members from Stafford, Spotsylvania, and the City of Fredericksburg.  

 

What We Do

 

*  Conduct an annual fundraiser to support Republican candidates.

*  Donate books to local schools and libraries.

*  Donate to UMW College Republican Group

*  Elect Republican candidates to office .......especially women!

*Influence legislation through state and national advocacy programs.

*Promote political education.

*Schedule informative, educational meetings.

*Manages the Fredericksburg Republican fair booth.

* Read to children in classrooms.

*  Our Community Projects is the Fischer House and the Salvation Army. 

 

VIRGINIA FEDERATION OF
REPUBLICAN WOMEN

The Virginia Federation of Republican Women (VFRW) is a dynamic force in Virginia politics and is the largest political organization in the state. VFRW women hold elective office across the Commonwealth as a Congresswoman, Delegates in the General Assembly. County Treasurers, County School Boards, County Board of Supervisors, City Council, Clerks of the Court and have been appointed to various committees. The VFRW also has a significant voice in national politics through the National Federation of Republican Women. 

THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN

The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) is the largest women’s political organization in the United States. It is made up of more than 100,000 members and has more than 1,800 units across the country. There were 21 Republican women who were sworn in when the new 108th Congress convened in January. Plus there are hundreds of Republican women who hold prestigious positions in statewide executive and state legislative offices, as well as in numerous other important posts. Women working and networking together are leading the way for Republican women.
